Vintage 1991 Oil painting on boards, seascape, Lugger 1709, Signed, Dated Framed

This is an original signed oil painting on board depicting a Lugger 1709. A lugger is a sailing vessel defined by its rig, using the lugsail on all of its one or several masts. They were widely used as working craft, particularly off the coasts of France, England, Ireland, and Scotland. Luggers were used extensively for smuggling from the middle of the 18th century onwards.

Beautifully done, great bright blue and green colors. Nicely framed. Framed measures 31" x 21" & painting measures 30" x 20" Please see the photos, they are part of the description. Signed Lugger 1709, monogrammed in the lower-right corner and dated 1991.
