Up for sale is an antique original oil painting on canvas after Federico Mazzotta (Italian, 1839  -  1897) titled "Stealing a Taste".  

This painting depicts a warm domestic scene, set in a rustic interior, and captures a quiet moment of daily life in a rural family. The central focus is on three figures—a woman, a young girl, and a boy—gathered around a low wooden table with a pot of food. The earthy color palette, combined with soft lighting, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, emphasizing the warmth of the home.

The painting is signed by L.Scott and dated 1904 in the lower-left corner.

Nicely framed. Condition: Relined on plastic film. Minor paint losses. Very minor craquelure. Some scattered inpaintings. Some repaired patches on the backside.
