Edwin Cole (1868–1935) was a British artist renowned for his landscape paintings. Born in Shrewsbury, England, he was the son of artists T.W. Cole and Mary Elizabeth Lewis. He began his career as a heraldic artist and painter of church windows but later became Shrewsbury's most successful painter. His works often depict pastoral scenes, capturing the serene beauty of the English countryside. Several of his pieces are part of the National Collection, including "Untitled Landscape," "Lloyd’s Mansion," and "Abbey Church from West, 1886," all housed in the Shrewsbury Museum.
